Communique: MauBank Covid-19 Household Support Programme

Following the extension of moratorium of the COVID-19 Household Support Programme, until 31 December 2020 as announced by the Bank of Mauritius, MauBank invites its existing beneficiaries willing to benefit from this extension, to send us an e-mail on householdsupport@maubank.mu or to visit one of our branches.

New applicants willing to apply for the COVID-19 Household Support Programme, may also visit one of our branches for their application with the supporting documents below;

  • Salaried individuals:
    • Last payslip
    • Letter from the employer confirming COVID-19 impact on remuneration or any other evidence acceptable to the Bank.
    • Spouse’s NIC and proof of income or any other evidence acceptable to the Bank if applying under the household category.
  • Self-employed individuals:
    • Business Registration Number (BRN)
    • Trade license (where applicable)
    • Last 6 months Bank Statements (not required if account is maintained with the Bank)
    • Last MRA Return
    • Spouse’s NIC and proof of income or any other evidence acceptable to the Bank if applying under the household category.
