Terms and Conditions Visa Mauritius Shell

Overview of the campaign

Visa cardholders are expected to Tap to Pay Rs 1,500 (One thousand and five hundred) or more using their Visa Card at participating Shell filling stations and receive a Rs 150 fuel voucher that can be redeemed in any Shell filling station across the island.

This campaign is operated by Visa and not by the financial institution that issued the Visa card to you. As you are aware, Visa is not a card issuer and does not provide credit, debit or any financial services. Any issue you may have with respect to your card should be directed to your issuer and not to Visa. The relationship between Visa and your card issuer does not create any relationship direct or indirect between the cardholder and Visa. These terms and conditions are different from the agreements between you and your issuer and unless as otherwise specified in these Terms and Conditions, none of the terms of any agreement between you and your financial institution has any effect on, or relationship with these Terms and Conditions.

Duration

The fuel voucher of Rs 150 is only available for a fuel purchase equal or above Rs 1,500 made with eligible Visa cards through the Tap to Pay option on selected Shell stations ONLY on Fridays from 3pm to 7pm and on Saturdays from 10am to 4pm from 5 April to 4 May 2024. Any transactions made outside this period will not be eligible

The campaign is subject to the following terms and conditions:

A. You become eligible to participate in the program by holding a Visa card issued by a financial institution in Mauritius. Your participation rights are tied to you being a Visa cardholder.
B. The voucher is limited only to transactions made on the following Shell filling stations: Arsenal Service Station, Ebene Service Station, Emeralda Service Station (Cascavelle), Flacq Service Station, Floreal Express Service Station, Lancaster Service Station (Quatre Bornes), Lataniers Service Station (Roche Bois towards the North), Mare d'Albert Service Station, Paradise Sevice Station (Grand Bay), Roadway Service Station (Bell Village), Roche Bois Service Station, Highlands Service Station, Sigway Service Station (Plaisance), Moka Service Station & Valton Service Station.
C. Qualifying transactions should total Rs 1,500 or more.
D. Visa cards are eligible for the campaign i.e., debit, credit, and prepaid cards.
E. The voucher shall be given by a Shell employee following the purchase of fuel. The cardholder is not expected to take any action in this regard.
F. The voucher can be redeemed at any Shell filling station across the island.
G. Visa takes no responsibility for any inaccurate reporting or non-visibility of qualifying transaction either by collections only files or non-accessibility.
H. The Voucher is non-transferable and not exchangeable for cash.
I. The Vouchers will be given on a first come first serve basis while stocks last.

Question: What do I have to do to be entitled to the voucher?
Answer: Tap to Pay Rs 1,500 or more using your Visa Card at participating Shell filling stations and receive a Rs 150 fuel voucher that can be redeemed in any Shell filling station across the island.

Question: When does the promotion end?
Answer: The promotion ends on 4 May 2024.

Question: Do I qualify on all the transactions I carry out on my Visa card including Automated Teller machine (ATM) withdrawal?
Answer: You will be rewarded when you Tap to Pay with your Visa Card at participating Shell stations’ Point of Sale (POS) transactions but not ATM transactions.

Question: I only have a Visa credit card; will I qualify for a voucher if I make payments with it?
Answer: Yes, with Visa credit, debit, and prepaid cards.

Question: How will I receive the voucher?
Answer: The voucher shall be given by a Shell employee following the purchase of fuel.

Question: When will I receive the voucher if I am eligible?
Answer: The voucher will be given to you on the same day you Tap to Pay Rs 1,500 or more on selected Shell service stations.
